Read After This was built for one simple reason: most book recommendations are too shallow. They match on a single genre or a single author and miss what actually made you love a book in the first place.

We look at the pattern across three books you love - the tone, the mood, the themes, the pacing, the kinds of characters that linger after you close the cover, and the quality of the writing. Then we recommend books that share that DNA, even when they live in a completely different section of the bookstore.

Some of our recommendations will be obvious. Some will surprise you. All of them come with a clear explanation of why we think you'll like it, tied back to the three books you chose.

We're a small, reader-first project. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no clutter. Just three books in, eight thoughtful recommendations out.
